Management change – Istanbul office

Effective immediately, Mr. Ali Osman Yahsi has been relieved from his duties as Managing Director of our Istanbul office due to serious breaches of trust and integrity. We want to make it clear that Mr. Ali Osman Yahsi has never been a shareholder in Legero International Istanbul Lojistik Ltd Sti nor in any other Legero company but was only the appointed director for Legero International Istanbul Lojistik Ltd Sti.

It was discovered that Mr. Ali Osman Yahsi has deliberately withheld important financial information from our shareholders, including hiding and diverting significant company funds as well as using them for private purposes. These actions are unacceptable and do not reflect the values ​​of honesty, transparency and professionalism that we strive for.

Additionally, it has come to our attention that Mr. Ali Osman Yahsi has been engaged in activities that are in direct conflict with the interests of our company. Together with Mr. Ömür Demircioğlu, he has established a separate business entity, “Shipublic” which offers the same services and operates in direct competition with our group. This act constitutes a clear violation of both our company policies and ethical standards.

We want to assure you that we are taking all necessary legal and operational steps to protect the interests of our customers, partners, and shareholders. Our priority is to ensure the continuity of our business, maintain your trust, and prevent any further disruptions. With immediate effect we have taken decisive actions to restructure the company. Mr. Robert Plune has been appointed as the direct replacement for Mr. Ali Osman Yahsi and will be dedicating significantly more time to our Istanbul office. To support Mr. Plune in this transition, a new management team has been appointed to ensure the continued smooth operation and growth of the office and we can assure you it is business as usual!

Furthermore, Mr. Cenk Emre Sepetcioglu has been promoted to Head of Treasury and will directly report to our Group CFO, Mr. Arie Visser.
